Cosby are a friendly, family Rugby Union Club started in 1988 and who are embarking on their twentieth season of rugby. Situated to the South of Leicester, we currently run two sides. Last season (2007-2008) the senior team again performed well in Division 2 of the Leicestershire League.

The season also was the first year we established a 2nd side which will hopefully have a full fixture list on 08/09. Senior sides train on Tues and Thursday nights with the sessions being held on our own floodlit training area on Victory Park, in the heart of the village, starting at 7 0’ clock. this year the training commences on July 8th and we welcome newcomers. The club has 8 coaches holding RFU badges, providing variety to sessions. Cosby has players of all standards, newcomers and beginners are always warmly welcomed.

Being a family orientated club, as would be expected we run a thriving Junior /Mini section. Catering for age groups 7, 8, 9 and 10's.

Success in matches and festivals across all age groups and have put Cosby firmly on the map in the Leicestershire Mini/junior circles. As always we are looking to increase the numbers in the  Junior/Mini section. Everyone is welcome and fun is the principle aim. We have five fully qualified coaches. In recognition of the work in this section we were recently awarded year one status RFU seal of Approval.
